George Lombardo, President/Owner:
George graduated from Illinois State University (ISU) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing with a focus on sales achieving a certification by the Sales and Marketing Training Association. Upon his departure from ISU George worked as a Financial Aid Adviser helping students to consolidate their student loan debt which he used as his stepping stone to pursue his true passion in the construction industry. After achieving Senior Loan Adviser status he sought out a job working for a new home builder as a Sales Consultant with KB Homes working in their Park Place community in Crystal Lake. He saw great success helping over 90 people from various backgrounds find the home that fit their needs helping them select all of the options that were to go into their new home. When the market tanked KB Home shut their doors in the Chicago market it was at that time George took a position as a project manager with a local roofing company learning the ins and outs of the insurance restoration business.
After a few short years working for another restoration company George founded Gold Standard Restorations, Inc in 2010. Since then he has gone on to obtain numerous licenses and certifications including an Illinois Roofing Contractors License, Illinois Public Adjuster license, EPA LEAD Safe Renovators Certification, Master Elite Contractor for GAF, Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning, Certified Installer of Certainteed, Certified Installer of IKO, Certified installer of Tamko, Certified installer of Atlas, James Hardie board certified and Xactimate Level 1 certification which is the software used by most major Insurance Carriers when writing claims. Whether looking for an out of pocket estimate or an insurance claim when it comes to having someone knowledgeable about construction at your home you would be hard pressed to find anyone more qualified to assist you.
George has built his company based on an overriding principal of quality material and workmanship. He has become an expert in the area of fire, flood and storm restoration combined with his already solid background of home renovations.
Lisa Cretton, Office Manager:
Lisa is a graduate of Purdue University, Calumet with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management with a minor in Finance. After 10+ years in a variety of management positions in the hotel industry Lisa became a VP in banking specializing in consumer and commercial lending. She handles all the financial reporting, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable in the office. If you’ve got a question about your bill she is here to answer all concerns. Lisa can also help arrange financing for customers that may want to spread out the payments for their project over time. In addition, Lisa obtained an Illinois Public Adjuster’s License to help serve as an advocate to homeowners that have suffered an insurable loss on their property. It’s an invaluable resource for homeowner’s to not have to worry if they are getting a fair settlement for their claim. Lisa lives in Crystal Lake and has two children attending South Elementary.
Drew Klass, Project Manager:
Drew has 8 years of experience working with homeowners on their exterior remodeling. Drew has a passion for the industry and a high energy level that is infectious. His outgoing personality and the excitement that he brings to all his projects make him a great advocate for our homeowners. He builds relationships with not only his homeowners but also the insurance adjusters in our area. Drew lives in Island Lake with his wife and two daughters and is an accomplished pastry chef for friends and family.
Carmine Coglianes, Project Manager:
Carmine is very detail oriented. He won’t miss a thing as he walks through inspections with your insurance adjuster. Carmine is a career tradesman. He has been working on homes (and cars) his whole life. He is friendly, courteous, sincere and eager to help his homeowners through the process of selecting the right materials for their project. Carmine lives in Crystal Lake with his wife and daughter. He recently acquired his Illinois Public Adjuster’s License which ensures that his homeowners will be fully indemnified for any insurable losses incurred. He has been specializing in storm restoration for the last 8 years.
